Expert Geophysics Limited has developed a new patent-pending powerful and low-noise time-domain system with a 3-component receiver – TargetEM. The system is designed to provide magnetic, VLF and AFMAG data along with time-domain EM data. Expert Geophysics Limited together with Qazaq Geophysics has started a commercial survey in Kazakhstan.

An application of the mTEM system is published in The Leading Edge

K92 Mining Inc.: For the first time in over 10 years, airborne geophysics over the entire ~860 sq km property was flown. The program engaged Expert Geophysics Limited to conduct the helicopter-borne #MobileMT electromagnetic and magnetic survey. The results from the #MobileMT geophysics delivered excellent correlation between known mineral deposits and conductive bodies. The results also show a possible confluence of the vein systems between Kora / Kora South and Judd / Judd South with the north-northeast Maniape and Arakompa vein systems, representing a highly prospective target. In addition to the vein targets, known mineralized porphyries were highlighted by geophysics, including A1, Blue Lake, Tankaunan and Timpa.

Getty Copper Inc. conducted a property scale Airborne #MobileMT survey including total field magnetic and VLF was also carried out covering some 1300-line kilometer using a state-of-the-art airborne magnetometer system developed by Expert Geophysics Limited.

Aurania Resources reports: “MobileMT geophysics has indicated a buried conductive body in excess of 4 x 5 kilometres in size.  The anomaly has the “classic doughnut” shape of a porphyry body.  The conductive anomaly coincides with copper and molybdenum stream sediment anomalies, and with quartz-sericite-pyrite (“QSP”) alteration exposed in stream beds.”

MobileMTm -focusing on details

To bring advantages of natural field electromagnetics into the exploration of discrete targets and mapping complex structures from the surface up to several hundred meters depth, Expert Geophysics Limited has introduced the new and special modification of the MobileMT technology – MobileMTm.

High-resolution aeromagnetic data measured with two horizontally spaced sensors is included into the MobileMTm as a complementary dataset to the EM data. The following document includes a field example of the MobileMTm system for kimberlites identification.
