Wishbone Gold Plc has commenced drilling at its Red Setter project, following the arrival of the drill rig and support trucks operated by Strike Drilling. The decision to modify the exploration program was influenced by Expert Geophysics Limited MobileMT survey, suggesting Red Setter’s structural similarity to Telfer. They are now targeting broad mineralization zones rather than high-grade singular deposits. Southern Geoscience Consultants and Expert Geophysics Limited have identified two primary MobileMT targets in proximity to the main Red Setter mineralized zone, reflecting the project’s strategic location near Telfer and Havieron gold-copper discoveries. Chairman Richard Poulden expressed enthusiasm for the expanded knowledge of the system and the added exploration targets.

Next-generation helicopter-borne TargetEM system has commenced at Carr Boyd by Expert Geophysics for Estrella Resources in Australia:
➔ TargetEM offers significant technology and sensitivity upgrades from previous airborne systems
➔ World-first Audio-Frequency-Magnetic (AFMAG) time-domain data to be collected will vastly improve depth and quality of investigation in potentially detecting drill targets over previous systems
➔ 253km2 survey will target entire Carr Boyd internal and basal contacts along with the nearby Colreavy Komatiite

Successful MobileMT survey in Nevada.

17 July, 2023. North Peak Resources Ltd. announces results from the recently completed Magnetotelluric helicopter geophysical survey, MobileMT, on its Prospect Mountain property in Eureka, Nevada.

Expert Geophysics Limited has developed a series of airborne time-domain systems (TargetEM) for commercial surveys worldwide. TargetEM is the latest airborne EM development by the industry-leading R&D team. Currently, there are three TargetEM configurations which are fast and easily customizable depending on exploration tasks and terrain conditions.
The main advantages of the TargetEM systems family are the next:
·    Very high signal to noise ratio;
·    Superior rectangular current waveform with a short turn-off time;
·    Dipole moment up to 570,000 NIA;
·    3 rigid orthogonal coils (X, Y and Z);
·    Full waveform recording at digitizing rate of 73,728 Hz;
·    dB/dt and B-field data;
·    complementary MAG and VLF data;
·    AFMAG data along with time-domain EM data (coming soon).

Ni-Cu system exploration in Gabon with MobileMT survey. “Our aim with MobileMT data was to use the latest exploration techniques to rapidly assess and map the potential migration and concentration of fertile magmas in our search for critical metal concentrations on a wider scale. The interpretation of the MobileMT data shows that this has been achieved.”

MobileMT results push exploration activity at Red Setter

Wishbone Gold Plc’s West Australian Red Setter project is a highly prospective deposit situated near Greatland Gold’s Havieron and Newcrest’s Telfer multimillion-ounce deposit.
